We said never

we will not catch the wind in the field -

after all, it's pointless,

so that we don't dream nonsense,

We live fantastically anyway.

We didn't even look at the sky,

we were working and didn't have time,

our gold shone brighter than the stars,

We had the whole world in our pockets.

And one day we looked up

We looked from the ground and up,

and there the days and years flew by unstoppably,

and we no longer had them.

And they flew terribly beautifully, but too fast,

we shouted at them and tried to catch them

with palms and bags, with promises and deceit,

but who could we fool?

Life flew through the sky,

not a crumb remained in my hands.

We have made so few mistakes.

and we paid too much.
