The Tower Of Solitude

From my room window I can see the house across the river,

You shout at me without a sound, only with your lips.

The dark current between us, the sky in the cold water

And the light of your windows at night.

We lie in our beds, on opposite sides of the river,

We think about us, what we will be,

If we ever meet, when the star falls,

If we still want each other after the night.

And only dark water

Between us.

We wake up and fall asleep

On your side.
